Written by Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, along with Michael Hardy and Mark Holman, "Simple" takes cues from folk and roots music -- it's a bit reminiscent of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes' 2010 hit "Home" -- and mixes them with a poppy beat and steady rhythm. The duo's longtime collaborator, Joey Moi, produced the song, which is about finding your soulmate.
